Simulation is a widely used methodological strategy in health sciences education, including logopedics. Its relevance lies in its ability to blend theory and practice, providing students with realistic experiences in safe environments. This study aims to describe a training activity based on simulation, focusing on the coordination between an early childhood education teacher and a speech therapist in a simulated scenario. Participants are students from the Auditory Deficiency Intervention course in the inter-university Speech Therapy program at UVic-UCC/UOC. The simulation takes place at the International Simulation and High-Performance Clinical Centre in Umanresa (CISARC). Pedagogical resources such as simulation guides, case descriptions, and confidentiality agreements are utilised. The training experience reflects high participant satisfaction and contributes to the development of clinical and professional competencies. However, areas for improvement in methodology and evaluation have been identified. In conclusion, simulation is a valuable tool in speech therapist education, and further research and adjustments are recommended to enhance its effectiveness.
