En el presente trabajo analizamos las actividades en las que intervienen gráficos de barras en libros de texto de matemática de Educación Primaria en Perú. Para ello, realizamos un análisis de contenido en una muestra de tres series completas de libros de matemática (18 textos), estudiando el tipo de habilidad, el nivel de lectura demandado y el nivel de complejidad semiótica que intervienen en cada actividad. Los resultados muestran que los gráficos de barras están presentes en todos los niveles considerados de Educación Primaria, así como el predominio de la habilidad de interpretar, el nivel de lectura dos (leer dentro de los datos) y el nivel semiótico tres (representación de una distribución de frecuencias). In the present investigation, we analyzed the activities where the bar graphs are included in the mathematics textbooks of Primary Education in Perú. Through content analysis, in a sample of three completed series of mathematics textbooks (18 books), we have studied the type of ability worked in that activity, the level of reading demanded and the level of semiotic complexity involved. The results show that the bar graphs are present in all the grades of Primary Education, as well as the predominance of the ability of interpreting, the reading level two (read within the data) and the level of complexity semiotic three (representation of a frequency distribution).
