    This study focuses on the theme of the inclusion of students with special education needs in Portuguese public regular classes, with reference to the External School Assessment (ESA). It aims at mapping the inclusive practices of differentiation and support that are referred in the ESA reports for the Centre of Portugal (2nd Cycle, 2011/2012). Schools that obtained highest rating (very good) on Differentiation and Supports in the first and second evaluative cycles and that had simultaneously identified this as a Strength were selected. References to Planning, Teaching Practices and Monitoring of Teaching and Learning were also checked.

    Este artigo insere-se na temática da educação inclusiva de alunos com Necessidades Educativas Especiais em turmas regulares do ensino público em Portugal, tendo como referência a Avaliação Externa das Escolas (AEE). Com efeito, procurámos mapear as práticas inclusivas a partir dos relatórios da AEE da Zona Centro de Portugal Continental, identificando as escolas que no primeiro e no segundo ciclo avaliativos obtiveram classificação máxima (Muito Bom) no fator Diferenciação e Apoios e que simultaneamente tiveram identificado este ponto forte. Procurámos também verificar com que frequência há registos destas práticas nas categorias Planeamento, Práticas de Ensino e Monitorização do Ensino e das Aprendizagens.
