This article is an integral part of a junior scientific research project entitled "They hear, I listen", which seeks to survey and analyze the musical repertoire of parents, teachers and community of EEEFM PIO XII heard for several generations. In this generational plan we seek to rescue the collective musical memory of the community and discover what changes have occurred over the years, highlighting the generations X, Y and Z as the research network. The research methodology - qualitative and quantitative - is based on the construction of semi-structured interviews, recorded and transcribed by the scholarship holders; analyze the collected songs; and, as a final result, the production of this article and its exposition.

Este artigo é parte integrante de um projeto de pesquisa científica júnior intitulado “Eles ouvem, eu ouço”, que busca fazer um levantamento e análise do repertório musical de pais, professores e comunidade da EEEFM Pio XII ouvidas por várias gerações. Neste plano geracional buscamos resgatar a memória musical coletiva da comunidade e descobrir quais as mudanças ocorreram no decorrer dos anos, destacando as gerações X, Y e Z como a rede de pesquisa. A metodologia da pesquisa – qualitativa e quantitativa – se baseou em construir entrevistas semiestruturadas, gravadas e transcritas pelos bolsistas; analisar as canções coletadas; e, como resultado final, a produção deste artigo e sua exposição.
