Juventudes rurales potosinas: narrando sus trayectorias escolares

    Las trayectorias escolares son plurales y diversas como las juventudes mismas, e identificar lo que emerge en las juventudes rurales como un sector vulnerado y excluido fue el propósito de esta investigación. El objetivo general de este estudio fue reconocer aquellas singularidades que intervienen en la trayectoria escolar de las juventudes rurales y cómo influyen en la toma de decisiones estudiantiles. La metodología que se utilizó fue un estudio descriptivo-interpretativo en dos fases, una cuantitativa y otra cualitativa. Los resultados nos permitieron caracterizar la población y revelaron cinco factores que intervienen en las historias del estudiantado: el recorrido de la casa a la escuela, cómo se sienten percibidos por sus docentes, la adquisición de responsabilidades, su ingreso al mundo laboral informal, y, por último, sus posibilidades escolares.

    The school trajectories are plural and diverse like the youths themselves and identifying what emerges in rural youth as a vulnerable sector and excluded was the purpose of this investigation. The general objective of this study was to recognize the singularities that intervene in the school trajectory of rural youth and how they influence student decision-making. The methodology used was a descriptive-interpretative study in two phases, one quantitative and the other qualitative. The results allowed us to characterize the population and revealed five factors that intervene in the stories of the students: the journeyfrom their home to school, how they feel to be perceived by their teachers, their new responsibilities, their entry into the informal job world and, finally, their school possibilities.
