  • Resumen
    • In the panorama of the Didactics of Spanish Literature what remains much to define and review, as confirmed by Gloria García Rivera, according to whom the didactics of literature is a scientific field still in the definition phase. Regarding language teaching, there is little bibliography. The various current studies on the teaching of literature are more linked to primary school and the mother tongue than to secondary studies and th esecond language, and, unfortunately, they do not take into account the crucial training of teachers in the intercultural field. Teachers as “social actors of a democracy” and “educator professionals” must be able to cope with a multicultural school; knowing how to manage heterogeneity, allowing us to respond to the needs of a society in constant evolution and transformation. It is clear that the teacher must be aware of the real usefulness, because it is educator, of teaching literature, one of the subjects that contributes most to the process of maturation of the adolescent's personality and helps to develop their critical capacity as well as contributes to increase the sensitivity and affectivity of students. This contribution is a reflection on my experience as a teaching teacher of Spanish Literature in the Active Training Practices courses organized by the University of Enna Kore.
