This work proposes to draw a structured analysis of the initial context that frames the development of the educational innovation project linked to the Erasmus+ project, Human Rights in a European Community of Values (HUMREV), at the Cabo de la Huerta Secondary Education Institute in Alicante. (Spain) in the 2016-17 academic year. The project was linked to Key Actions 2 (KA201) in Erasmus+, which promote strategic innovation alliances. Through the case study research methodology combined with the design-based research methodology (DBR), the objective is to carry out a systematized description of the context with the support of two instruments: the SWOT-CAME technique and the logical framework approach methodology (LFA). This instrumental case study, of a historical organizational type, obtains as results some key design indicators (KDIs) with the structured SWOT-CAME context analysis and draws a second analysis of some KDIs thanks to the tools provided by the LFA. Since this article is part of a broader research project, it allows us to obtain some first KDIs that will be contrasted in the following phases of the research project and show their usefulness as elements of triangulation with the aforementioned analysis techniques.
