  • Resumen
    • Podcasts can be a useful resource in different educational stages and with a variety of learning purposes. They can be easily created with mobile phones or laptops, uploaded on platforms available online and applied in educational environments. The use of podcasts in education can foster the development of language skills, especially the oral ones. They can integrate the use of ICTs in the classroom teaching, achieving an active learning experience. There have been many podcast creation projects for higher education. The uses range from a substitute for traditional classes or conferences, to a complementary resource or as a creative medium that allows participants to create content. Podcasting can be useful in transmitting course information, and even more valuable when students become creators of the product. This perspective of creative generation of content by students was targeted in the innovation project carried out in the Education Faculty of Albacete at the University of Castilla La Mancha during the 2022-23 academic year. The participants were student teachers of the English specialty. The experience was positively rated by the students, in line with the findings of previous studies.
