The main aim of the present study was to compare the primary and secondary school teachers' opinions on the bilingual programme in the region of Andalusia. A total of203 teachers from bilingual primary schools and 225 teachers from bilingual secondary schools completed the questionnaire consisting of twenty-two items. To examine the aim of the study, one-way analyses of variance (ANOVA; or one-way ANCOVA when the covariable/s were statistically significant) were conducted to compare the reported scores on the twenty-two items between primary and secondary school teachers. The results of the study showed statistically significant differences on four items (p < 0.05). As no differences were found for the other eighteen items, the study allowed us to determine that both groups share similar views on most issues related to CLIL implementation and, therefore, it seems that the development of the bilingual programme at these two educational stages has similar challenges. However, due to the curricular differences between primary and secondary schools, it is worthwhile to analyse both stages separately in order to identify the problems that are being encountered in the development of the bilingual programme at each level of education.
