    Múltiples investigaciones se han llevado a cabo desde que se desató el covid-19, de las cuáles la mayoríaaborda temas de carácter clínico. Por otra parte, las hay que tratan temas relacionados con distintos aspectosde la educación, siendo las evidencias de las diferencias un elemento destacable, mostrando casi siempre lavisión de lo negativo de las mismas, como la brecha digital. Por ello, en esta comunicación mostramos laexperiencia de la enseñanza del inglés de un centro de primaria de la isla de Gran Canaria durante elconfinamiento. A lo largo de la misma, se expone la situación de partida, la experiencia, así como, lasprincipales dificultades encontradas. Los resultados fueron positivos, pues se consiguió conectar con lasfamilias y seguir contribuyendo al desarrollo de la competencia lingüística en el idioma extranjero.Las estrategias, dinámicas, técnicas y herramientas utilizadas han permitido el avance de las niñas y losniños escolarizados en educación primaria, a la vez que han permitido lograr los objetivos marcados yalcanzar los estándares de aprendizaje que se habían establecido para el curso académico 2019-2020.Los anuncios lanzados desde el Ministerio de Educación, que daban por aprobado a todo el alumnado, nomermaron la ilusión, las ganas y el trabajo del alumnado, con la finalidad de seguir aprendiendo.

    Many studies have been carried out since the appearance on COVID 19, most of which address the issuesof a clinical nature. On the other hand, there are studies that deal with issues related to different aspects ofeducation. These studies show the evidence of differences of a highlighted item, that being the digital divide,and almost always reflect a negative vision of this topic. Therefore, in this report we want to show thefirsthand experience of teaching English in a primary school on the island of Gran Canaria during theconfinement. Throughout this, the main difficulties encountered in the beginning of the situation and the experience during it, are shared. The results were positive since they were able to connect with the familiesand to continue contributing to the development of linguistic competence in the foreign language.The strategies, dynamics, techniques and tools used have led to have the advancement of the girls and boysenrolled in primary education and at the same time, they have made it possible to achieve the set objectivesand reach the learning standards that had been established for the academic year 2019-2020The Ministry of Education announced that all students would pass the course however, that fact didn’taffect the enthusiasm and the effort of our students to keep on learning.
