  • Resumen
    • It is essential to promote activities that allow pre-service teachers to become familiar with Sustainable Development Goals and to learn how to incorporate them into their future practices. To address theseissues, an innovation project was carried out at the University of Zaragoza, with students from the NurserySchool Education and Primary School Education Degrees. The activities carried out were focused on responsible consumption and waste management, including theoretical and practical exercises, a waste managementlecture, a visit to a waste treatment plant and the creation of infographics. In both degrees, the visit to the wastemanagement and treatment plant was the most positively rated activity, reflecting the importance of learningexperiences outside the classroom. In addition, the overall sequence had a positive impact in terms of wastemanagement, food, promotion of responsible consumption and healthy habits in the students involved. It hadinfluenced their view on waste management and itt had made them consider how they could incorporate thenew knowledge gained into their daily lives. This shows that the program has been effective in promoting values and attitudes that enable them to operate and transform reality with sustainability criteria
