  • Sociometry, one of the primary research methodologies upon which personal network analysis is built, has traditionally been used in the field of education to identify and illustrate the choices made by students regarding their social interactions in the classroom. It helps to identify situations of leadership, conflict, exclusion, and further improve coexistence. This proposal seeks to identify and visualize the network map (or sociogram) as a tool to understand the structural and relational characteristics of personal social networks among university students and to identify potential situations of relational vulnerability in female students. This will facilitate the implementation of primary and secondary prevention actions against gender-based violence in the classroom. Building upon the principles of transformative research in education, curricular social justice, and social network theory, this study aims to propose a methodological innovation by using personal social network analysis to detect situations of relational vulnerability among university students, in order to propose actions and contents that actively engage students in addressing these issues within the classroom context.
