This paper presents the second part of a descriptive-exploratory study that consisted of several phases. The aim of this study was to describe the digital competences in the area of information that a group of 3rd course of Secondary Education students manifested when searching and evaluating information on a scientific topic (acid rain) on the Internet. The first part, already published (Valverde, de Pro y González, 2020), focused on the process of browsing and searching for information. This second part focuses on describing the evaluation of information and, within this objective, above the study of the criteria used by the participants in their evaluations. The results allow us to know what the participants base their assessments on and to know the digital competences they have acquired.
