Resumen de Participación social y conciencia sustentable en México a partir del resguardo domiciliario por SARS-CoV-2

  La presente investigación tiene por objetivo evaluar las acciones llevadas a cabo por la población para generar una conciencia sustentable durante la “Contingencia 2020”, suscitada tras la emergencia sanitaria internacional por el virus SARS-CoV-2. Como instrumento, se aplicó una encuesta semiestructurada mediante la metodología CAWI (Computer Assisted Web Interviewing) a población general, con un total de 3,125 respuestas. Para su análisis se seleccionaron 37 de sus 47 variables, subdividas en cuatro bloques. En la evaluación se utilizó un Análisis por Componentes Principales a través de métodos multivariados, destacando trece factores que explican 57.2 % de la variación total. Posteriormente se aplicó un Análisis de Clúster identificando un total de cinco grupos de población; su integración mostró heterogeneidad en las respuestas exponiendo la necesidad de generar canales eficientes de comunicación que entrelacen la importancia de ser más participativos como sociedad en el medio ambiente y con los cuidados propios de la salud humana, entendiendo que ambos tienen una estrecha correlación. Concluyendo que la vía para un desarrollo sustentable más humano requiere de una conciencia ambiental colectiva que indudablemente atraerá beneficios a la salud individual.

      This research aims to evaluate the actions carried out by the population for water care and organic waste management during the "Contingency 2020", aroused after the international health emergency by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. As an instrument, a semi-structured survey was applied through virtual methods to the general population, with a total response of 3,125. For analysis, 37 of its 47 variables were selected, subdivided into four blocks. The evaluation used a Main Component Analysis through multivariate methods, highlighting thirteen factors that account for 57.2% of the total variation, characterizing the sample population. A Cluster Analysis was subsequently applied identifying a total of 5 population groups; its integration demonstrates heterogeneity that explain the need to generate greater channels of communication that interweave the importance of being more participatory as a society in the environment and with the care of human health, understanding that both have a close correlation. The path to more humane sustainable development requires collective environmental awareness that will undoubtedly attract benefits to individual health.
