    Given the importance of a Pedagogical Course Project (PCP), and its implications for the formation of the desired professional, the objective of this research is to analyze the topic “profile of the egress” present in the PCP of Chemistry Degree at the Federal University of Espírito Santo - campus Alegre, through a reflective look. For this, it was necessary to elucidate certain concepts and describe Brazilian education and teacher training. Therefore, a conceptual analysis of this PCP was carried out in order to understand the intentionality present in the topic “profile of the egress”. After the analysis, it was possible to observe that the PCP has fragments that divert the training of this professional and makes it impossible to obtain essential attributes for a teacher.

    Diante da importância de um Projeto Pedagógico do Curso (PPC), e de suas implicações para formação do profissional desejado, o objetivo dessa pesquisa é analisar o tópico “perfil dos egressos” presente no PPC de Licenciatura em Química da Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo no campus de Alegre, por meio de um olhar reflexivo. Para tal, foi necessário elucidar determinados conceitos e historiar a educação brasileira e a formação de professores. Visto isso, foi realizada a análise conceitual desse PPC com a finalidade de compreender a intencionalidade presente no tópico “perfil dos egressos”. Após a análise, foi possível observar que o PPC possui fragmentos que desviam a formação desse profissional e o impossibilita de obter atributos imprescindíveis a um professor.
