Choosing a ram by yearling ewes was evaluated during the first cycle ofbreeding. Two rams were limited with a rope of 5 m to a couple of stakes, avoiding contact, the object were that 57 breeding ewes had an optionto choice between one or the other. It was evaluated the number of ewessheep that interacted with each ram and their permanence, likewise wasincorporated an ethogram with the most relevant behaviors. For analysisit was used the Proc. GLM of SAS (1999) with the Poisson’s regressionmodel. It was found that the majority of the ewes had interaction withthe two rams, but not all were sexually oriented; 21 ewes were mounted(36.8%) and for accepting the male were considered in estrus. A rammounted 14 sheep and 7 were shared, just the 1 number had servicewith 4 and the 2 none. It found differences between the sexual behaviordeployed, especially when females were shared, deployed sexual behavior, except the vent (flehmen), other behaviors were mostly expressed with theram 1 (P≤0.05) concluding with service found. As a main sexual behaviorswere the sniffing of perineum, venting (flehmen) and urine by the female.
