The emphasis on nutrition is not new, and it finds itself at the heart of many identityand health stakes. Health and food are inseparable in the mind of the individual, andthis is becoming an important turning point in this period of health crisis. Individualsare concerned about their diet and health, and that can clearly be observed on socialnetworks. Indeed, nutrition is one of the main discussed and analyzed themes onInternet (David, 2018). Influence can have be seen under many aspects. Pilgrim andBohnet-Joscko (2019) focus on the model that an influencer can embody when theyengage in a bond of trust with their audience. They transmit the idea of an ideal bodyand life through the sharing of daily photos and videos. They are very strict with theirfood and physical diets, to which they add food supplements several times (Pilgrimand Bohnet- Joschko, 2019). This ideal of life attracts young users who reproduce thesame behaviors. Social media, and more specifically Instagram, have communities thatmotivate their audiences to lose weight (Gallin et al (2019), giving them support, adviceand motivation so that they can achieve their goals. The feelings of identification andbelonging to a group represent a very important factor when an individual wishes toadopt a healthy diet and sports practice (Dessart and Duclou, 2019). This study showsand specify that the influence on our eating and sports behaviors can also be the resultof trends on social networks. Our research has been developed on 40 Instagramaccounts. We have evaluated their legitimacy and ranked them according to severalcriterion. Results suggest that the "fitspiration" movement, a contraction of "fitness"and "inspiration" exist among young women and men communities on Instagram, yetthe gender reveal similarities and differences on the practices. In other words, even ifwomen and men influence their communities through daily similar photo and videosharing, differences in the way they influence are being analyzed in this work
