    For decades, Brazilian education has being succumbed to the scarcity of investments. Reflecting about the impacts of COVID-19 on education can help to recognize the challenges faced by the school's community and the possible ways to overcome them. Therefore, a field research was made with 213 teachers from the municipal schools of Linhares-ES to analyze how the Remote Teaching process occurred during the pandemic. Data analysis was done in a qualitative way in the light of learning theorists. Among the results, the lack of upcoming planning and the lack of reliability in Remote Education stand out.. The discussions establish reflections on the importance of planning pedagogical practices with Active Methodologies that meet the wishes of students of the 21st century, post-pandemic.

    Há décadas a educação brasileira sucumbe perante a escassez de investimentos. Refletir sobre os impactos do COVID-19 na educação pode auxiliar no reconhecimento dos desafios enfrentados pela comunidade escolar e nos possíveis caminhos para superá-los. Portanto, realizou-se uma pesquisa de campo com 213 professores da rede municipal de Linhares-ES para analisar como ocorreu o processo de Ensino Remoto durante a pandemia. A análise dos dados foi feita de forma qualitativa à luz dos estudos teóricos sobre aprendizagem. Dentre os resultados destacam-se a falta de planejamento vindouro e a ausência de confiabilidade no Ensino Remoto. As discussões estabelecem reflexões sobre a importância de planejar práticas pedagógicas com Metodologias Ativas que atendem aos anseios dos estudantes do século XXI, pós- pandemia.
