  • Resumen
    • The specific learning difficulties (SpLD) are evolutionary disorder swhose origins go back to biological and genetic alterations. Dyslexia is one of these disorders that occur when children learn to read. Due to the growingi ncrease of dyslexic students in the university area, it is imperative and urgent to redevelop teaching materials that can respond to their specific academic needs. On the one hand, knowing the characteristics of dyslexic students enable the mitigation of the harmful effects of this difficulty. On the other, it leads to the improvement of the quality of the university life of dyslexic students thanks to the educational responses specifically adapted for them. With this in mind, our proposal aims to implement appropriate strategies for the acquisition of BusinessEnglish vocabulary, a challenge for dyslexic students due to the intrinsic features of this type of English for specific purposes (ESP). This proposal is aimed not only at providing adequate professional training, but also at improving their meaningful learning process.
