Resumen de Los universitarios y su relación con las redes sociales: un análisis de sus hábitos, comportamientos y motivaciones de uso

  La Web 2.0, están cambiando los paradigmas comunicativos tradicionales. Las redes sociales (RRSS) han transformando el panorama de las relaciones interpersonales, proporcionando nuevos beneficios y nuevas e innovadoras formas de interacción e intercambio de mensajes. Esta premisa sirve de punto de partida a la hora de articular el objetivo general de esta investigación, con la que se pretende conocer la realidad actual de los universitarios en cuanto a sus hábitos de uso, motivaciones y comportamiento en RRSS. Para ello se ha implementado la metodología cuantitativa de la encuesta mediante entrevista personal con cuestionario estructurado a una muestra de 669 estudiantes de la Universidad de Cádiz. En cuanto a las principales conclusiones del estudio, los universitarios utilizan las RRSS principalmente para divertirse, entretenerse y desarrollar sus relaciones sociales. Especialmente relevante es la preocupación que muestran por los aspectos relacionados con su privacidad, con los robos de identidad y el bullying en RRSS.

  Web 2.0, are changing the traditional communication paradigms. Social networks (RRSS) have transformed the panorama of interpersonal relationships, providing new benefits and new and innovative forms of interaction and exchange of messages. This premise serves as a starting point when articulating the general objective of this research, which aims to know the current reality of university students in terms of their habits of use, motivations and behavior on social networks. For this, the quantitative methodology of the survey has been implemented through a personal interview with a structured questionnaire to a sample of 669 students from the University of Cádiz. Regarding the main conclusions of the study, the university students use the RRSS mainly to have fun, entertain themselves and develop their social relationships. Especially relevant is the concern they show about aspects related to their privacy, with identity theft and bullying in the RRSS.
