    Exposing transcription and translation as problems is an appeal to indicate concerns about the production of Medieval History and the formation of future medievists in Brazil. We will discuss the study of the expedient to writing of the public instruments produced by / for the Order of the Temple in the thirteenth century in our experience of the teaching of Medieval Latin. We will consider the hypothesis that the syntax constitutes an index of the materialization of the magisterium of the Templar Pôncio de Broseto and of the auctoritas of Pope Alexandre IV.

    Expor a transcrição e a tradução como problemas indica inquietações quanto a produção de História Medieval e a formação de futuros medievistas no Brasil. Discutiremos o estudo do recurso à escrita dos instrumentos públicos produzidos pela/para a Ordem do Templo no século XIII em nossa experiência do ensino de Latim Medieval. Consideraremos a hipótese de que a sintaxe se constitui em índice da materialização do magisterium do Templário Pôncio de Broseto e da auctoritas do Papa Alexandre IV.
