  • Resumen
    • In our paper we try to find out the name of an anonymous translator of one of the most important texts in the Franciscan bibliography, Le Laude, written in the 13 century by Jacopone da Todi. The method we have followed is to pay attention to the details offered by translators and editors in their books. Beginning with this, we have searched in several prologues and prefaces related to such kind of religious texts published in the 16 century. Finally, we propose the name of Fr. Felipe de Sosa as translator of this text and we are open to discuss details about our proposal.
