Knowledge management can be used as a new way of looking at how universities could operate more effectively in the twenty first century. Among the knowledge management approaches, knowledge sharing in the sense of collecting and accessing the necessary and useful collective knowledge seems to be an interesting starting point to a new educational practice in student-centred learning. In the paper we wish to advocate the approach, recently being investigated in the scope of a national project.
