    El objetivo de este artículo es delimitar el significado y sentido de una educación inclusiva, teniendo presente su aplicación a los contextos tanto formales como no formales de enseñanza.

    Para ello, partiendo de la comprensión de la educación inclusiva como derecho, en un primer momento, se ofrecerá una definición de la misma, de las dimensiones que la configuran, lo que nos facilita un marco de referencia y actuación.

    Posteriormente se destacarán los valores que la fundamentan. Por último, se analizará su naturaleza dilemática, así como el gran desafío al que nos enfrenta. A lo largo del texto se tratarán de aplicar los diferentes análisis que se realicen al contexto del monográfico.

    The objective of this article is to delineate the meaning and sense of inclusive education, taking into account its application in both formal and non-formal educational contexts. Because of that and from the standpoint that inclusive education is a given right, first we will propose a definition of inclusive education and the dimensions with which it is configured, providing us with a framework of reference and course of action.

    Subsequently, we will highlight the values that underlie this construct. Finally, we will analyze its dilemmatic nature, as well as the great challenge that confronts us. Throughout the text will try to apply the different analyzes to be carried out in the context of this monograph.
