    La finalidad de este trabajo es hacer un análisis sobre la relación entre el arte, la religion y la traducción. En este estudio, intentamos demostrar que la traducción de los cantos litúrgicos es más que un ejercicio lingüístico, es realmente un arte propio, es la liturgia cantada. Mientras se está celebrando, a través del mundo, el octavo centenario de predicación de la Orden, se crearon varias canciones con fines de reforzar la misión de los predicadores. La labor lingüística de los Dominicos mezclado con le extensión multicultural de la Orden se refleja de manera autentica en la letra de sus canciones. Así, nos centraremos en este estudio en el análisis textual de las canciones, el significado de los temas, la terminología usada y sus traducciones.

    The purpose of this work is to make an analysis of the relationship between art, religion and (he translation. In this study, we try to show that the translation of the liturgical songs is more than a language exercise, it's really an art itself, which is the liturgy sung. While it is taking place throughout the world, the eighth centenary of preaching of the Order, several songs with the purpose to strengthen preacher's mission. The linguistic work of the Dominicans mixed with multicultural extension of the Order is reflected in a genuine manner in the lyrics of their songs. As well, we will focus on this study in the textual analysis of the songs, the meaning of the items, the terminology used and its translations.
