This paper explores the attitudes of young users when consuming online content, with the objective of identifying the dynamics in the patterns of access and trust towards news content in the Web. For doing so, a questionnaire was applied to a sample of students from the Journalism Degree at the University Miguel Hernández. The results reveal how, despite interests and patterns of information access are facing a transformation in the digital context, traditional factors such as clarity, correctness and credibility of sources remain decisive in the users’ selection and confidence.
