    El propósito de este artículo, que no pretende ser exhaustivo, es analizar algunos proverbios árabes desde la perspectiva lingüística-cognitiva, para determinar la oportunidad y capacidad de su traducción a lenguas románicas como el español.

    The objective of this paper, without any pretense to be an exhaustive study, is to analyse several Arabic proverbs from a linguistic-cognitive perspective, with a view to assessing their suitability and capacity for translation into some of the Romance languages, such as Spanish.
