Atención a la diversidad estudiantil: retos en el contexto universitario mexicano

    Este trabajo se desarrolló en una entidad académica del área administrativa que pertenece a una Universidad pública de San Luis Potosí, México. Dicha institución destaca por brindar desde tiempos recientes acceso a una población estudiantil cada vez más diversa en aspectos culturales, económicos y físicos, condición que generó el interés para desarrollar este estudio. El objetivo se centró en analizar a través de autoridades, profesores y alumnos elementos de la cultura institucional, políticas y práctica docente que favorecen o limitan la construcción de ambientes inclusivos; se detectaron necesidades importantes para su atención como la formación pedagógica del profesorado, fortalecimiento del programa de tutorías, vinculación y trabajo colaborativo entre departamentos escolares.

    The present work, developed in an academic entity of the administrative area that belongs to a public institution of upper level of San Luis Potosí, Mexico. This institution stands out for offering access to a student population increasingly diverse in cultural, economic and physical aspects, condition that generated the interest to develop this study. The objective focused on analyzing through authorities, teachers and students the institutional culture, policies and educational practice, that favors or limits the building environments inclusive; where important needs were detected for his attention as the pedagogic formation of the professorship, strengthening of the program of tutorships, entail and collaborative work between school departments, spaces of participation and reflection for teachers and students.
