Resumen de Caracterización de docentes a cargo de la formación docente inicial en física en Argentina

  En Argentina, la formación de profesores está a cargo de dos subsistemas de educación superior que tradicionalmente han funcionado desconectados y con diferentes escenarios, condicionando a los docentes que se desempeñan en ellos. En este trabajo se presenta un estudio que describe características de profesores a cargo de la formación docente inicial en física en Argentina, en relación con lo que enseñan y cómo lo hacen, las dificultades que tienen para el empleo de recursos y las necesidades de formación, vinculadas con la antigüedad docente y el subsistema en el que se desempeñan. Algunos resultados indican que los diferentes contextos de trabajo en las instituciones que forman profesores en física en ambos subsistemas, condicionan fuertemente el papel que ocupan los recursos y las estrategias didácticas que se emplean.

  In Argentina, teacher education is the responsibility of two subsystems of higher education that traditionally have functioned in a disconnected manner with different scenarios, thus conditioning the teachers who work within them. This article describes the characteristics of the professors in charge of the initial education of physics teachers in Argentina, in terms of what they teach and the way they teach, the difficulties they have in using resources, and the need for training associated with seniority and the subsystem where teachers work. The results indicate that the various employment contexts in the institutions that train physics teachers in both subsystems, strongly condition the role of resources and the didactic strategies used.
