  • Resumen
    • In the following pages, the phenomenon of social networks will beexplained from an anthropological point of view. In the first place, it will beexplained how they are a cultural manifestation, they are another sign of our timethat deciphers the present moment, but at the same time they demand a moreprofound explanation about anthropology, about the nature of the human being, about its original structure, about what does not change in this changing world.Later, it is argued why social networks should be studied from the point of viewof the person as an embodied being who accesses knowledge of the world andof himself from the materiality of his body. It explains why the construction ofpersonal identity demands the unavoidable participation of others and in whatsense social networks hinder this human need. For this, data from different studieson the use of networks are provided. To conclude, some ideas are pointed out onhow to approach social networks in a more pedagogical way, especially from thefigure of the teacher, who must be aware that the media are not neutral and canplay for or against youth.
