The Bologna Declaration of 1999 marked the beginning of the unification of the European Spacefor Higher Education (EEES) that became a reality in 2010. Before this date, different meetings such as rectorsin Salamanca 2001; students in Goteborg 2001; and ministers in Berlin 2003, Bergen 2005 and London 2007were held to define and specify this process. To adapt to this process, in 2005, El Libro Blanco del Grado enHistoria del Arte was produced, which is a reference document that defines the study plans. The objective ofthis work was to carry out a study of this document, analyzing the formative contents, the field of skills andthe aptitudes that the student must achieve. For this, we have examined the different study plans in Art Historyat the University of Salamanca emphasizing the analysis of what was done in the Artistic Techniques subjecttaught at the University of Salamanca. The objectives, contents, skills, learning outcomes, evaluation systemsand teaching methodology used are explained. In this last-mentioned point, it is important to consider that, carrying out the outside and inside practices play a prominent role for students to achieve the proposed objectives.
