  • Resumen
    • Educating to the self-awareness and ulteriority is one of the challenges that every educational context should face. The personal self and the school self, if open to the relationship with the Other, allow to sustain the processes of growth and determine the quality of life. The development of intelligence and emotional competence allow an adequate adaptation to real and virtual contexts, facing difficulties and preventing discomforts and disorders that, in childhood, are increasingly present. Especially in digital life, keeping in mind the developments of artificial intelligence, it is necessary to promote the correct use of technological devices to support the quality of relationships and the control of their actions. We must, therefore, intervene in the relationship between cognition and emotion, favoring a balance that determines the expression of stable and oriented emotions. Through the Locus of Control and the Coping Power, young people can be educated to an adequate development of the self-awareness and a correct relationship with the contexts of reference.
