    Black-African postmodernism is, among other things, characterized, on the linguistic and literary level, by the renewal of discourse. As such, narrative prose becomes a language laboratory conducive to stylistic experimentation. In that respect, this thesis is a reflection based on the analysis and description of phraseoparemiological units as they are used in literary discourse, in particular in that of the Burkinabè novelist Yamba Élie Ouédraogo. Indeed, it performs an autopsy of phraseoparemiological units through the prism of narratology, discourse, linguistics, pragmatics, argumentative rhetoric, sociolinguistics and ends with a translatological approach as a factor of creativity and variation in the francophony. In the light of all these approaches, it is the writer's virtuosity in integrating the literary practice of the phraseoparemia into his stylistic and aesthetic project that is fascinating. Otherwise, and under an agileand well-trained pen, one can perceive the ingenuity of the writer who pushes back the traditional functional limits by which we recognize phraseoparemiological units

    Le postmodernisme négro-africain est, entre autres, caractérisé, sur le plan linguistique et littéraire, par le renouvellement du discours. En tant que tel, la prose narrative devient un laboratoire de langue propice aux expérimentations stylistiques. Cela dit, cette thèse est une réflexion fondée sur l’analyse et la description des unités phraséoparémiologiques telles qu’elles sont employées dans le discours littéraire, celui du romancier burkinabè Yamba Élie Ouédraogo notamment. En effet, elle fait une autopsie des unités phraséoparémiologiques au prisme de la narratologie, du discours, de la linguistique, de la pragmatique, de la rhétorique argumentative, de la sociolinguistique et finit par une approche à caractère traductologique comme facteur de créativité et de variation en francophonie. À l’aune de toutes ces approches, c’est bien la virtuosité de l’écrivain à intégrer la pratique littéraire de la phraséoparémie à son projet stylistique et esthétique qui est fascinante. Autrement, sous une plume agile et bien entraînée, on peut lire l’ingéniosité de l’écrivain à repousser les limites fonctionnelles traditionnelles auxquelles l’on reconnait les unités phraséoparémiologiques.
