    • Business activity has shown fundamental changes compared with women's micro-enterprises entrepreneurship due to their importance in the economy. This doctoral thesis come up from the particular interest to investigate topics related to women and their business activity, as a result of professional experience ,which motivate myself to star this research with the main objective to identify the women 's personal characteristics, their fam ily relationships , as well as motivation and skills applied to technology, administration, organization, finance, marketing, human resources, tax and legal obligations, using these factors to start a successful microenterprise in food and beverage sub-sector . The research question is: Which are the characteristics , abilities or skills that lead women to start a successful microenterprise in the food and beverage sub-sector? The study is focused on the city Toluca , State of Mexico, especially in the food and beverage sales sub-sector. These are the activities that women prefer to do, because of the possibility of making compatible domestic and familiar work, with money and professional issues, and also, to have freedom and a flexible schedule, generally with low risk, the minimum capital investment and slow growth. From a Bibliometric Analysis and the State of the Art, were determined the variables that answer the "Gathner's Model" objectives, starting from the theoretical framework , which is based on the Behavioral Management School that was used to analyze the fema le entrepreneurship, to identify, describe and explain the womens entrepreneurs behavior, creating the questionnaire that integrales questions related to female entrepreneurship, identifying sociodemograph in aspects, character istics , skills and entrepreneurs' motivations , as well as a successful or unsuccessful entrepreneurship, obtaining the information in six months . The research method is the Transversal Type , using Quantitative Methodology and the Deductive Method. The research design is based on the Multivariate Model for Discrimination Methods, which allowed the desirable profile to create a successful microenterprise in the food and beverage sales sub-sector, making an importan! contribution in this Doctoral Thes is , helping the curren! literature development by the em pirical women 's entrepreneurship work, being the key to guarantee the microenterprises success due to its economic and social importance, pretending to be the first step to contribute to the topic's improvements and to continue with future research's
