The aim of this study is to investigate the influence of yoga practice in Infant and Primary Education teacher´s conscience. The point of starting is the conceptualization and characterization of conscience from an ethic and emic point of view. After that we analyze and describe the influence of yoga practice in the own teacher´s conscience.
A case study is carried out with a qualitative perspective. Using semi-structural interviews to 16 Infant and Primary teachers of yoga practice and to 5 yoga teachers in order to achieve the triangulation.
The results show that yoga practice helps to develop not only the conscience of the teacher, but also important qualities to enable the teaching practice, such as empathy and pedagogical humility. We can conclude that yoga practice is an element that contributes to the personal and professional development of teachers
