    This text aims to present a study of the most frequently occurring analytical categories in works of linguistic historiography (hereafter HL) through the observation of materials produced by researchers in the field. In this sense, through a study of materials such as theses and dissertations produced between 2005 and 2020, we seek to identify which categories are most frequently found in these materials and which conceptual terms are associated with them. The study included a corpus of 67 theses and 31 dissertations. The study was based on the theoretical-methodological assumptions of HL (or those relevant to it). Its aim was to promote a reflection, albeit an introductory one, on the resources that help the historiographer to organize and interpret the data of an investigation.

    O objetivo do texto em tela é apresentar um estudo sobre as categorias analíticas mais recorrentes em trabalhos da Historiografia Linguística (doravante, HL), a partir da observação de materiais produzidos por pesquisadores da área. Nesse sentido, buscou-se, por meio de um levantamento em materiais como dissertações e teses, produzidas entre os anos de 2005 e 2020, investigar quais as categorias mais recorrentes nesses materiais e que noções conceituais estão ligadas a elas. A pesquisa contou com um corpus constituído por 67 dissertações e 31 teses. O estudo foi baseado nos pressupostos teórico-metodológicos da HL (ou caros a ela) e, por meio deles, intentou-se promover uma reflexão, mesmo que introdutória, sobre os recursos que auxiliam o historiógrafo na organização e na interpretação dos dados de uma pesquisa.
