    Se propone una revisión de la construcción cultural de la feminidad a partir de tres ejes de convergencia: el ideal de belleza, la ideología anatómica y la teatralidad genital, desde el desarrollo de la anatomía en el Alto Renacimiento italiano hasta el surgimiento de la industria pornográfica en el cine, a comienzos del siglo XX. Para tal empresa, el análisis se centra en la Venere dei Medici, un molde anatómico femenino en cera usado para el entrenamiento médico a finales del siglo XVIII, con el fin de demostrar que tanto el pensamiento anatómico como el pornográfico apologizan la misma verdad sobre el cuerpo humano: el devenir ontológico de la carne lo determina el falo y su ausencia (o complementariedad).

    A review of the cultural construction of femininity is proposed from of three axes of convergence: the ideal of beauty, anatomical ideology and theatricality genital, from the development of anatomy in the Italian High Renaissance to the emergence of the pornographic industry in the cinema, at the beginning of the 20th century. For such an undertaking, the analysis focuses on the Venere dei Medici, a female anatomical cast in wax used for medical training at the end of the 18th century, in order to demonstrate that both anatomical and pornographic thought justify the same truth about the human body: the ontological becoming of the flesh is determined by the phallus and its absence (or complementarity).
