    El teletrabajo internacional ha experimentado un enorme crecimiento en los últimos ejercicios y diferentes gobiernos han mostrado su interés en promover la atracción a su país de los denominados nómadas digitales. Sin embargo, la normativa actual a nivel local e internacional no se ajusta bien a la realidad que genera el teletrabajo internacional estricto, aquel en el que la empresa no tiene un interés de negocio en el país desde el que el teletrabajador internacional ha decidido residir o prestar sus servicios. Este artículo pretende resaltar esta falta de encaje entre la normativa actual y la realidad práctica del teletrabajo internacional, haciendo una llamada a la necesidad de plantear una modificación de la regulación actual.

    International teleworking has experienced an enormous growth in recent years and different governments have shown their interest in promoting the attraction of the so-called digital nomads to their countries. However, current regulations at local and international level are not well adjusted to the reality of strict international telework, where the company does not have a business interest in the country from wich the international teleworker has decided to reside or provide services.This article aims to higlight this mismatch between the current regulation and the practical reality of international telework, calling for the need to consider a modification of the current regulation.
