For some years now, alternative dispute resolution has been unstoppable in almost all areas of the Spanish justice system. The contentious-administrative process is not an exception. However, as is well known, there are multiple difficulties in incorporating different alternative methods in the contentious-administrative process: principles, fundamentals, leitmotiv, etc. The present work explores some of the ways that, based on the Law 29/1998, of July 13, avoid the referred objections and that, therefore, make possible the use of this type of formulations in the contentiousadministrative process
