    En las escuelas superiores de arte dramático, la formación del actor, generalmente, se fundamenta en la interpretación para el teatro, y los diferentes sistemas de interpretación se trabajan en base a una estética de la interpretación para el teatro. El actor o la actriz que desea actuar ante la cámara, necesita adaptar su técnica para adecuarla a la estética de la interpretación para la pantalla, y para hacerlo, es importante que conozca las principales diferencias entre actuar para el teatro y actuar para la pantalla.

    Actor’s training in Drama Schools tend to be based on acting for the stage and the different acting systems that they practise are usually based on an aesthetic of theatre acting. The actor who wants to act for the screen needs to adapt his or her technique to the aesthetics of acting for the screen and in order to do it, the actor has to know the main differences between acting for the stage and acting for the screen.
