Resumen de La reciprocidad universidad-comunidad: el aprendizaje-servicio como vía de desarrollo

  El trabajo que se presenta se basa en la noción de reciprocidad universidad-comunidad como un principio de calidad básico que ha de orientar la introducción de las experiencias de aprendizaje-servicio (ApS) en el contexto universitario. Este elemento es considerado como uno de los que mayor importancia tiene dentro de esta metodología educativa. Sin embargo, la vasta diversidad en las acepciones que puede tomar, junto con la escasa producción científica referente a los beneficios que obtiene la comunidad en estas experiencias, ha supuesto un descuido a la hora de asegurar un equilibrio en los beneficios que obtienen los distintos agentes involucrados en este tipo de proyectos. Por ello, los objetivos de este trabajo son esclarecer el significado de reciprocidad en ApS, explicar cuáles son las variables que la condicionan y marcar el rumbo que esta estrategia pedagógica debe tomar para hacer más efectivo su compromiso con la sociedad. Así, de lo que se trata es de potenciar el ideal de genuina colaboración entre universidad y comunidad, hacia una verdadera relación de beneficio mutuo en el que todos los agentes ocupen un papel activo en el desarrollo de estas iniciativas.

  The work presented is based on the notion of university-community reciprocity as a basic qualityprinciple that should guide the introduction of service-learning experiences (SL) in the universitycontext. This element is considered one of the most important in this educational methodology.However, the vast diversity in the meanings that it can take, together with the few scientificproduction regarding the benefits that the community obtains from these experiences, has meantan oversight in ensuring a balanced balance in the benefits that the participants in this type ofprojects obtain. Therefore, the objectives of this research are to clarify the meaning of reciprocityin SL, explain what are the variables that condition it and mark the course that this pedagogicalstrategy should take to make its commitment to society a reality. Thus, our goal is to promote agenuine collaboration between University and community, towards a true relationship of mutual benefit in which all agents perform an active role in the development of these initiatives.
