  • Resumen
    • This image signals that this contribution is a featured part of the special collection on “Climate Change and Sustainability in Intro Physics.” In this article, we present two activities related to energy issues and climate change as a part of the first-year undergraduate physics curriculum: the first activity deals with energy issues through experiments and Fermi questions on physics, transport, and climate change, whereas the second activity aims to introduce a systemic approach through an interdisciplinary cooperative serious game called the climate fresk. In this article, we present teaching materials and student feedback. Together, these activities serve not only to raise awareness about climate change but also to pave the way for a climate science itinerary for physics students working both on their physics skills related to climate issues and also on a more systemic interdisciplinary approach to climate change.
