Cuidado y educación de las primeras infancias en la ciudad de San Luis: espacios y derechos

    Como educadoras de Nivel Inicial, formadoras de formadores de las carreras de Educación Inicial, coordinado e integrado la Comisión de Carreras de Educación Inicial, como también forma parte de un equipo de gestión de una carrera de posgrado en torno a las primeras infancias en la Facultad de Ciencias Humanas de la UNSL, nos preocupa y ocupa conocer cómo se organizan y funcionan las instituciones maternales que cuidan, atienden, acompañan y educan a las infancias en la ciudad de San Luis. Por ello, y como punto de partida, consideramos necesario relevar los espacios formales y no formales por los que transitan las niñeces entre 45 días y 3 años de edad.  En este marco y considerando la importancia de estas instituciones para el cuidado, atención y educación de las primeras infancias, creemos que es indispensable relevar cuáles son las instituciones maternales habilitadas y en funcionamiento, así como indagar su regulación y supervisión para posibilitar algunos análisis y reflexiones al respecto.

    As early childhood educators and trainers of trainees in early childhood education programs, as coordinators and members of the Program Committee for the Early Childhood Education Program, and as integral members of the management team for a postgraduate program in early childhood at the School of Human Sciences of the National University of San Luis (UNSL), we hold a deep concern and strong interest in understanding the organizational and operational aspects of daycare centers that take care of, support, accompany, and educate children in the city of San Luis. To initiate this inquiry, we believe it is essential to gather information regarding the formal and informal spaces attended by children aged between 45 days and 3 years.

    Within this context, and acknowledging the crucial role that these institutions play in the care, attention, and education of early childhood, we firmly believe that it is imperative to thoroughly examine the current status of daycare institutions in terms of their certification and operation. Moreover, we must conduct an investigation into their regulatory framework and oversight mechanisms to enable a meaningful analysis and foster insightful reflections on this matter.
