    Se presenta el resumen de una investigación, cuyo objetivo fue conocer sobre las representaciones de la infancia en dos películas localizadas en este campo del saber: El Regreso (película colombo-venezolana) y Mustang (película turca), y que presenta algunos hallazgos relacionados con el tema, a partir de las categorías de género, etnia y clase social. En el marco teórico, las representaciones sociales se definieron y caracterizaron a partir de Moscovici (1984), Jodelet (1986) y Chartier (1992). La categoría de infancia se aborda desde la autora Iskra Paves Soto (2012), y la categoría de cultura se aborda desde los postulados de Freud (1930) y Greetz (1973). El estudio asume como referentes metodológicos la investigación cualitativa interpretativa y el enfoque etnográfico. Como hallazgos y conclusiones generales se puede decir que las representaciones de infancia en el cine tienen la capacidad de presentar e informar sobre la condición de los niños y niñas en sus contextos de crianza y su papel en el grupo social específico.

    A summary of an investigation is presented whose objective was to learn more about the representa-tions of childhood, in two movies located in this field of knowledge: El Regreso (Colombian-Venezuelan movie) and Mustang (Turkish movie), that presents some visualizations related to the theme, from the categories of gender, ethnicity and social class. In the theoretical framework, social representations were defined and characterized from Moscovici (1984), Jodelet (1986) and Chartier (1992). The category of childhood is approached from the author Iskra Paves Soto (2012), and the category of culture is approa-ched from the postulates of Freud (1930) and Greetz (1973). The study assumes as methodological refe-rences the interpretative qualitative research and the ethnographic approach. As evidence and general conclusions, it can be said that the representations of childhood in current movies have the capacity to present and inform about the condition of children in their upbringing contexts and their role in the specific social group.
