    This Pandemic and its preventive measures broke the rules of individual freedom, andmake people isolated and avoiding personal contact with one other. Schools have been closed, workers passed to remote digital work, visits to nursing homes, clinics, hospitals and health care facilities were suspended. Besides that, this measures caused financial loses and a lot of unbearable emotional suffering. People are passing by moments of Madness, fear, confusion, anxiety, emotion isolation, insurance and if we do not care for them with a responsible and human look, we can have serious irreversible psychological consequences. Within the present reality, our objective is to analyse through a human rights point of view and in what’s biomedical law concerns, the measures to protect human dignity and safeguard psychosocial needs of the most vulnerable.

    A Pandemia e as medidas preventivas do COVID-19 infringiram a liberdade individual, fizeram com que as pessoas se isolassem e evitassem o contacto pessoal com terceiros. As escolas fecharam, os trabalhadores passaram ao regime de teletrabalho, as visitas alares, clínicas, instituições e hospitais foram suspensas. Além disso, provocaram grandes perdas financeiras e um imensurável sofrimento emocional. As pessoas estão a passar por momentos de loucura, de medo, de confusão, de ansiedade, de isolamento emocional, de insegurança e se não olharmos para elas com um olhar humano e responsável poderemos ter consequências graves e irreversíveis no âmbito do foro psíquico. Tendo em conta a realidade atual, o nosso objetivo é analisar através dos direitos humanos e do direito biomédico os comportamentos a adotar para proteger a dignidade humana e salvaguardar as necessidades psicossociais dos mais vulneráveis.
