    • The objective of this research is to determine the factors thatinfluence negatively on students of English as a second language, from the School of Foreign Languages of the University ofColima to have some kind of rejection to participate in artistic activities within the English class to develop their language skills.For the realization of this project I used a qualitative approach anda case study method, so I could observe and analyze the experiences of a phenomenon that affects a group of people at FLEX. Working on this project, I could find out which could be the factors that influence these students to present this predisposition to artistic activities in the English class. The factors can go from stage fright to the type of intelligence or intelligences the subject has. The subjects studied share some characteristics of personality and most of them share the same intelligences. I am sure the results of this research would contribute to the researches on Artistic Activities to develop language skills in English as a second language allowing us to see the other side of these activities and their implementation
