¿Palabras contra la sensibilidad burguesa? Análisis lexicométrico de los manifiestos de arte del siglo XX

    El análisis crítico de los discursos verbales constituye una estrategia especialmente útil para comprender la manera en que los manifiestos de arte intentan desafiar determinadas narrativas, inaugurar otras realidades y construir una identidad propia. El presente estudio partió de la necesidad de seguir profundizando en el conocimiento de los manifiestos artísticos del siglo XX, asumiendo como principal objetivo la exploración de la evolución del potencial político del arte en los manifiestos modernos y posmodernos desde un enfoque lexicométrico. Los resultados obtenidos revelan una progresiva despolitización de los discursos artísticos recogidos en este tipo de escritos: si, por un lado, los manifiestos modernos dedican grandes esfuerzos a atacar la sensibilidad burguesa y todo lo que ella representa, por otro, los textos posmodernos olvidan por completo los objetivos antiburgueses y parecen centrarse en reflexionar sobre un sistema ya consolidado, el del arte, sin amenazar en ningún momento su existencia.

    The critical analysis of verbal discourses constitutes a useful strategy for understanding the way art manifestos attempt to challenge certain narratives, inaugurate alternative realities, and construct their own identity. The present study stemmed from the need to further delve into the knowledge of 20th-century artistic manifestos, assuming as its main objective the exploration of the evolution of the political potential of art in modern and postmodern manifestos from a lexicometric approach. The results obtained reveal a progressive depoliticization of the artistic discourses gathered in these writings: while, on the one hand, modern manifestos devote great efforts to attacking bourgeois sensibility and all it represents, on the other hand, postmodern texts completely forget the anti-ourgeois objectives and seem to focus on reflecting upon an already consolidated system, the art system, without threateningits existence at any point.
