    • The scientific, technical and artistic university context in which our teaching of German asa foreign language is located has inspired the teaching innovation project presented in this work. Themain objective of the project is to merge the learning of the German language in the subject Academicand Professional German A1 with the knowledge of the four museums of the Universitat Politècnicade València (UPV). To achieve this, the students of the subject create a short video in German in whichthey propose a visit to one of the museums. The methodology followed to find out the knowledge ofthe existence of the UPV museums and the impact that the implementation of the multimedia task hashad, includes the following phases: a first general survey of students from different degrees, a secondprior survey to the task among the students of the German subject, the completion of the task, a thirdsubsequent survey to assess the experience and a fourth general survey to verify any evolution. Boththe general surveys and those of German students regarding the university’s museum heritage showheterogeneous results.
