    Se presenta el desarrollo y contenido de las conferencias, talleres y exposiciones realizadas por el MAE durante los últimos tres años en la Comunidad Andaluza y España para dar a conocer experimentalmente algunos de los avances científicos más relevantes acaecidos durante el final del siglo XVIII, el siglo XIX y comienzos del XX.

    Dirigido a un público general (no era imprescindible disponer de formación científica especial) se muestra como la Ciencia, en letras «minúsculas» y «Mayúsculas», ha cambiado nuestra vida a lo largo de la Historia. Se han utilizado recursos e instrumentos de las épocas citadas, y se da visibilidad a material científico fabricado hace más de dos siglos y que pue- den proporcionar, aún, formación y diversión a los que los conocen hoy.

    The development and content of the conferences, workshops and exhibitions held by the MAE during the last three years in the Andalusian Community and Spain to experi- mentally present some of the most relevant scientific advances that occurred during the end of the 18th century, the XIX and beginning of the XX.

    Aimed at a general public (it was not essential to have special scientific training) it shows how Science, in «lowercase» and «Capital» letters, has changed our lives throughout History. Resources and instruments from the aforementioned periods have been used, and visibility is given to scientific material manufactured more than two centuries ago and that can still provide training and fun to those who know them today.
