    Esta investigación pretende reanudar la indagación sobre el sentido. Es predominantemente teórica y cualitativa. Su objetivo, describir el fenómeno referido mediante el sentido, a partir de la usanza comunicativa. Con base en lo cual se ha querido explicar la relación que existe entre sentido y comunicación. Metodológicamente analizó la doctrina mediante lo que Peirce denominó método retroductivo, es decir, buscando la estructura lógica de sus postulados. También analizó algunos actos de habla en que se emplea la expresión sentido, y lo confrontó con la doctrina sobre el sentido. El resultado es que fue definido mediante sinónimos sin un fundamento satisfactorio. Mientras que a partir del uso del sentido puede empezar a plantearse que tiene relación con la experiencia de los hablantes que los predispone a actuar de una cierta forma. Como conclusión, la comunicación es el mecanismo mediante el cual los hablantes circulan su sentido y, es mediante ella que se hace posible un cierto tipo de acción social e individual

    This research takes up the discussion on the sense. It is theoretical and qualitative. Its objective is to describe the phenomenon based on the use of the sense in communication. It also explains precisely the relationship between sense and communication. Methodologically: it analyzed the doctrine on the sense through what Peirce called the retroductive method, that is, it inquired about the logical structure of its main arguments. And he also analyzed some speech acts. In comparing the two results, he found that the doctrine defined the sense by means of synonyms without a satisfactory foundation. Whereas the use of the sense can be considered to be an experience on the part of people who communicate and which disposes them to act in a certain way. In conclusion, communication is the mechanism by which people who speak circulate the sense they give to things, and makes possible a certain type of social and individual action.
